24th Europa Cinemas Network Conference

The 24th Europa Cinemas Network Conference will be held for the first time in the Barcelona, a city renowned for its dynamic film culture and commitment to cinema, from Thursday, November 26 to Sunday 29, 2026.

500 delegates are expected to gather at the Grand Hyatt Barcelona, Spain to celebrate and strengthen Europa Cinemas network which has now reached 3166 screens in 815 cities and 39 countries.

This year’s programme will focus on audiences and audience development, exploring innovative approaches to attracting, engaging and retaining audiences. Sessions will also address emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence and audience data, alongside new perspectives on distribution, sales and collaboration across the film value chain. Through debates, workshops and case studies, participants will share practical solutions and best practices to strengthen the reach and impact of European cinema. The Conference is part of Europa Cinemas’ wider strategy for innovation and audience development, including the Innovation and Audience Development Labs, Collaborate to Innovate, Boot Camps and NEXT/Change.

European film previews will take place on Thursday 26th November, starting at around 10:00 am.

New this year - A workshop on technology trends! This year we're happy to announce an all new workshop focused on innovating technical upgrades for exhibitors. This workshop will focus on technology trends that cinemas should pay attention to and will be held on Thursday, November 26 in the afternoon.

The Conference sessions and workshops will start on Friday, 27th November at 9:30 am and end on Sunday, 29th at around 2:00 pm.

As in previous years, all sessions will be streamed live on Europa Cinemas YouTube Channel to allow everyone to take part in the Conference.

Simultaneous translation in 5 languages (English/French/German/Italian/Spanish) will be provided during plenary sessions and workshops.
